Essays In Idleness takes its name from
a 13th century Japanese bundle of essays. This track
has nothing to do with Japan, but when I wrote it it
was terribly hot in Texas, and I wanted to translate
the lazy feeling I had on a saturday. Even though this
uses acoustic sounding instruments, everything is
sampled and synthesized.
