The last pavane of the evening goes round and round. It is tradition
that, at the end of a variation, the couple closest to the door is
politely escorted out. Of course it wouldn't do to have that happen
to the king and queen, so the musicians know to sneak in an extra
variation when needed.

The final movement in my Courtly Suite. This is a whole bunch of related themes in various keys, connected by a recurring theme in G. Essentially a piece for tenor recorder and continuo, but cunning arrangers can add any number of parts.
