The small town of Ston had salt pans which were quite valuable in the 15th century. Therefore they built massives walls to protect themselves. Since the main threat would come over the hills (I guess) they built walls going all the way up and over the hills. Unfortunately we were there too late in the day to climb the walls, so we, I mean: I, could only climb to the entrance to the walls. Already quite a climb, as you can see from the picture facing back down.
